1949 Massey 22

I think I'm going to part this tractor. I finally found this number stamped behind the trans cover thanks to this sight. 22gr3026. I assume it's a 1949 22? Also does the GR tell me anything?

You may be surprised and get it to run. Those old Continental engines are pretty tough yet simple to work on. Good luck

I think it will run. The starter ring gear is bad. It was froze up but broke free pretty easy. Fill it up with ATF and diesel. I have a few projects in front of it.

Looks like it would be a handy little tractor. I bought it for the tires so now it doesn't have any. Maybe I will find some more seven hole wheels or make adapters if I keep it.

Well remember that Massey combine wheels will fit, we had a 22 when I was younger that had wheels off a 82/92 combine. John Deere 32's will also fit the Massey hub.
