First time working the MF202 Workbull

I finally got all the 3 point linkage parts on the Workbull so I could take the rollover box blade off the 8N and try it on the 202.

Man, what a difference. On the dirt road to my house there is a hill, about 25 degrees. In the bad storms the rains flow down the road creating huge ruts. To fix it, I have to use the box blade to drag the dirt up from the bottom where it washes down, up to the road where it came from. There is no place at the top where I can drag dirt down on the road so I have to drag dirt up the hill.

The 8N would bog down a lot of times with a box blade full of dirt so I'd have to raise it and dump half the dirt to get to the top.

The 202 in low range second gear just chugged right on up with a full box full of dirt. I think I'm really going to like this tractor.

Next I'll be taking the fork lift front end off of it and putting the bucket on it. I'll probably put the fork lift front end on the 8N and dedicate the 8N as my mowing tractor.

It was so easy hooking the box blade up to the 202 with it in low range reverse gear and the power steering. The 8N was a PIA for hooking up and implement especially with that fast reverse and FEL and no power steering.

Yeah, I think I'm really going to like this Workbull. Well worth the two grand I paid for it

I knew you would throw rocks at the 8N, the 202 works circles around it. The 202 has a much stronger front axle, and spindles that the 8N can only dream about.

Yes, that front end is impressive compared to the 8N. I won't be afraid to use the FEL. Not only the metal is better, the front tires are a lot bigger and beefier.

But, as I said, the 8N will be a good little tractor for mowing. No real hard work there. And the best thing, I won't have to be switching implements any more. Everybody ought to have at the very least two tractors.
