MF202 Workbull 3 point lift

When I purchased the tractor a couple months ago, the 3 point lift was not working. I finally got around to pulling the dipstick cover to investigate.

I didn't see any oil moving around with it running so I thought "great, no leaks". Anyway, when moving the quadrant levers I saw that they were not moving like they should.

I stuck a screwdriver in there and pried gently on the levers and they broke loose. I pushed on the control valve roller and it worked like it's supposed to in and out, so it was not stuck. The spring in it was good.

I finally got the three point to lift both on draft control and position control After I got a neighbor and his friend to come over, I had them stand on the lift arms. Together they weighed 460 pounds and the lift worked well and position control worked like it should.

So, I'm very happy that I don't have to remove that top cover.

I ordered a leveling box, leveling box fork and leveling rod for the other side today. It has the lower lift arms on it but the guy jury rigged it up with chains going from the upper lift arms to the lower lift arms. I don't want to run it like that.

As soon as I get the new lift parts, I'll put my rollover box blade on it and give it a real test. I'm beginning to be happy about the $2000 that I paid for it. It also came with a front bucket and a set of adjustable forks that someone removed from a regular fork lift and adapted them to fit this Davis loader.

The forks and bucket will also fit my 8N since it has the same Davis loader on it.
