My brother has a 1130 Massey. We believe the turbo went out. It really smokes when it runs. The question is, how many different turbos did massey use on the 1130? I have seen many different types.

Used Prior To Engine Serial Number 354UA1181T.
I would make sure its not the piston rings, usually when a turbo goes all the engine oil goes with it. If you can take the pipe off between the turbo, and intake manifold to see how oily it is on the inside. You can also run it a little bit when you have that pipe off to see if it makes a difference.
