mf35 gas tractor or what

Trying to figure out what what model/year tractor I have, been painted over so much I can identify the plate. It's a MF35 because
it has multipower and has MF on metal emblem on front hood, but it does not have differential lock, lift is not live and I think
it has a single stage clutch? The steering wheel looks all original but it is so close to the dash that my nuckles move the
throttle lever every time I turn the wheel, is this normal?

Not all of them came with differential locks, and some did come with a single stage clutch. A 35 with multi-power I think should have the 2 stage clutch. There is a plate with 4 bolts underneath the bell housing (it allows for clutch adjustment), remove the bolts/plate, and see if you can get a picture of the clutch. Also some pictures of the tractor will help a lot.
