Aftermarket Manufacturers

Since it looks like I will have to utilize a fair number of aftermarket parts for my repairs, Anyone care to comment on Sparex or A&I for quality?

I've bought both Sparex, and A&I parts, while some parts aren't exactly the same as the original MF parts, but they do work. When you order parts from a MF dealer chances are some of them will be A&I, or Sparex.

I bought a A&I ignition switch for my 135 a few years ago and it didn't work very good. I went to the Massey dealer thinking I would matbe
pay more, but get a better switch. It was more money, but the same low quality switch. I went to NAPA and bought a switch for a car.

Does anyone have a list of all the aftermarket manufacturers? I am having to go to their list of what they produce to find p/n's to give to dealers. The ones I know of so far do not sell direct. Most responses I have had are: Part not available if you give them the original MF p/n. But if you give them an aftermarket production number yourself then it becomes available. go figure.
