Hey. Im looking at a 1957 massey harris 50
tractor with the continental engine. Do
these tractors have a locking diff. And what
would it be like for blowing snow? Thanks!
 
No locking differential. Probably would blow snow alright if it wasn't too big of a blower. It would definitely need chains.
 
I have used a 6 foot snowblower on my 50 for years and it works good. The only time I have to stop to let it catch up is when cutting through snowplow drifts.
