reaching out to the other owners of these machines. Like me I am sure you have found out how difficult and time consuming it can be to research parts or Service instructions. After looking through the forum archives I noticed I am not alone in this. A lot of the same issues or similar ones seem to keep coming up. I am interested in pooling basic information, or at least where to find it. These are great tractors, I hope to one day fully restore the one I have.
If you are or were a Massey mechanic and have experience or knowledge about these machines I would be very interested in speaking with you.

Does it have draft response control lever on the right hand side by where your right foot would be? (circled in red).

The issue I have is none of the parts books or Service manuals have the updates or service bulletins. I have had no luck in finding them. The part numbers I can identify are not listed in parts manual. Everything keys off the lift cover casting or stamped number, or rear axle S/N. My lift cover has a casting number 1869284M1 but no stamp. rear axle mod. CC21775 S/N 1869881E91. I need to replace the support, quadrant casting 898197M1(it is cracked), Pressure control shaft, draft control lever assy, and both levers. I have already found a new lift cylinder, piston and rings. This version has the lever for the draft control, but is different inside. There are no separate dashpots and hard lines, everything mechanically links directly to levers on the pump itself.(21 spline model). This will not be cheap to repair and I am trying to make sure I get the right parts. I will also need the procedure for adjusting this version. Thanks for responding

I have been trying to send you a pic, This version doesn't use the separate dashpots. triangle shaped lever support bracket.

The closest one is the list for hitch cover 1870955. less pressure control. I have not found where the support, quadrant and pressure control shaft p/n's cross.

Here's a pic of the old girl. I ordered a service manual for the B since that's the only reference I have found for adjustments without dashpots.

It's in pieces at the moment, But looks the same as the one in the parts book under less pressure control, used with lift cover with casting number 1870955M1. The items I need off that particular page all seem to be good numbers. It's when I go to the pages with the control quadrant and response control that p/n's become different.

Yours doesn't look like it has any adjustments like the ones with the dash pot does (first one I've seen that looks like that). Maybe it's non-adjustable.

It does have adjustments. Both on the linkage and where the levers engage the pump. They are most likely just stops. Also there are 2 different Draft control lever assembly's (mine is bent) so I think they tried to simplify the assembly through better geometry. I sent for the 40B manual, It has a section titled Adjustments without dashpots, I hope it will apply. Thanks for your continued input.

There are 3 adjusting bolts in this breakdown, just hard to see. It has positions to not only operate 3PH, but also a continuous pump mode for using attachments like post hole augers etc.
