MF40 Hydraulic lift cover/controls

I am running into some difficulty finding the right parts and procedures for repairing the internal hydraulic system on my tractor. I believe it is a late model 40 industrial S/N 9A207276, (1974?) I have a set of reproduction manuals I purchased last summer, but they do not include any service bulletins or updates. I also have an original dealer manual, same thing. Casting number on the lift cover is 1869284M1, control support is stamped 898197M1. It has a 3 3/8" lift cylinder and does not have a mounted dashpot. Does anyone know a source besides AGCO that might have the information?

Just wanted to add that the model information is not on the data plate. It should be a 40 not a 40B as it has the 3cyl. perkins. The pump is a 21 spline model(868439M95) with a 868471M91 pressure control valve. I have to replace the lift cylinder and most of the parts in the control assembly and was trying to find the correct breakdown. Thx

They used to deal with MF industrials, and they helped me with parts for my MF industrial. They maybe able to help you.

Thanks, I hope they can help. This project is still an ongoing challenge. The internal hydraulics have not been used in a very long time. The tractor had a platform and receiver hitch bolted on the back. When I tried to compress the hitch cylinder on the bench I found it had been pumped full of grease. (to keep the arms up and out of the way I guess.)

I found an archived web page that listed a lot of Industrial models and S/N's. By this list it is a late 1974 MF40. 1975 was last year of production. The 40B didn't start until 1976. I know this topic surfaces from time to time.
