Backhoe for F-40?

Hello, getting lots of use out of my vintage F-40 with front loader. Wondering if backhoe attachment was ever available for this tractor? Currently have carry-all attached to 3PH. As always thanks for all the information and feedback. This forum has really helped me get most out of my tractor. Happy Holidays!

Bradco makes a few 3 point hookup backhoes, there is a couple of other companies that make them also. They aren't quite as good as a industrial, and they are not cheap.

Not a very heavy 3 pt. on those tractors,;an aftermarket backhoe would have to be relatively small in order not to damage the tractor.Ben.

Yes the hitch is not very robust. Works fine for what I do, however. I'll leave the tractor alone, use it as-is. I appreciate the comment.

Ok thanks for the info. As I mentioned in previous
comment I'll leave it alone. Can always rent
backhoe locally on as-needed basis.
