Front tires on the '76 MF265 are starting to look rough and cracked. If I had to guess, they are the original 3 rib tires that were put on from the factory. Tread is 'decent'.
The tires are 7.5L-15's. Since the tractor was my wife's uncle's -- she would like (eventually) a complete restore. New rims don't seem to absurd in price (55-60 bucks a pop). I'm curious though if I should stick with the 7.5L's, they seem to be more difficult to find compared to something like a 6.5-16.
Is there any reason I should prefer one size over another? Tractor does a FEL on it which is primarily used for pushing snow around.
Opinions?
