MF 20F Industrial

Hello,
I found an MF 20F tractor for sale. Does anyone have any experience with one of these? They any good? What are they worth? This one looks nice - been repainted. Loader looks to be in pretty clean shape, tight in hinge points, few dents in bucket, no cracks/welds or repairs. Could use a hose or two. Haven't heard it run. Would like to get opinions. Thanks

Should be a pretty good tractor, has the Perkins AD3.152 diesel engine. It's made in England so I think parts availability shouldn't be a problem. It looks it is based off the 245 agricultural tractor. Some industrials don't have the 3 point, and or pto, so if you need the 3 point, and or pto make sure is has it.

Thanks for the info.
It does have a pto and a 3-point. It comes with a new 6' hyd. box blade from an independent dealer. Loader cyls. don't seem to be leaking nor can I see where anything has been around the valves or anywhere else. Like I said, they put a great paint job on it. It would look practically new until I look at the dash. One gauge is missing and the others are pretty used. The center steering wheel cover is gone and looks quite rusty there. It shows 2500+ hours. Also the piece of the cowling just in front of the dash but behind the hood is missing. Things like that worry me some in that for the effort put into it to make it so shiny, I would have thought they would have gone all the way. Dealer says it runs clean and strong - work ready. (I still haven't heard it yet or seen it move) Asking price is $13,400. Seems quite high too me, but if it has been rebuilt everywhere and just needing cosmetics...? Any thoughts?

I paid 6500 for my MF 20 1973 with loader and a back hoe
its older than the one you're looking at
They are a good tractor with a stronger front axle for the loader
the AD3 152 motor is a tough to beat motor
dealers charg? more than private sales
I'ld try a lower bid on it you might be surprised what the dealer might take
but not all
A dealer near me had one 1976 with loader 3 point n pto cple yrs ago asking price was 6900
wouldn't talk about a lower price
At their annual no reserve auction they sold it for 2500
I offered 5500 out the door and they scoffed at me for even offering
I didn't buy it but I still remind them they could have had a sale for more than they got
IMO they are over priced on that one you're looking at without pics

Around where I live that's a little high price wise, but it since its a dealer the price is not surprising. Look it over real carefully, and ask lots of questions. If they can't answer your questions rather quick on anything they fixed/replaced I'd be cautious about the dealer.

Thanks everyone for the opinions. I'll see what the dealer has to say.
