might be getting a 2135 in trade, haven't seen pics yet but am considering it, want to know any differences in parts, it has a perkins diesel in it and its yellow, all i know so far :p

(quoted from post at 17:37:48 11/03/16) The one I had had cast rear wheel centers' a non adjustable wide front and the foot throttle.

My 2135 also has the cast rear wheel centers, foot throttle, and non adjustable wide front axle. The non adjustable wide front was available for the 135 orchard tractors. The foot throttle was available on the 135 for special for the state of Mississippi tractors. The 2135's were also available without the 3 point, and or pto so that is the first thing you should check for with industrials. If my 2135 didn't have the 3 point, and pto I wouldn't have bought it.

supposed to get some pics tomorrow, I see no real use for it if it doesn't have 3 point or PTO either. he wants to trade for my AC HD6E. I am not sure of value until I see the tractor but if its not too bad I don't think its too bad a trade. it supposed to be in use all the time.

I was going to say- going by the letter codes, transmissions and pto drives- if any, are usually different to an average 135.
Does the crawler work? Run good? If so, gosh, hate to admit it on here, but a 2135 without an ag arsend, ain't worth near an AC crawler that runs.

I have to agree 100% with Tony on that.

well its all moot now, his wife gave him the "look" and he backed out.

I need a bigger tractor to bale with, I have been haying with one tractor and its tiresome to keep switching implements. I can now rake with one of my TE20s. so thats a plus.

I figure whats supposed to happen will. Something will come along. The dozer isn't eating much

Thanks for all the replies guys! :)

A bit bigger model would be easier to bale with anyway. Unless you have a little old fashioned square baler.
A 65, 165, 175 would give you that much more torque, and pulling up a hill- with a full wagon, or a heavy one in a roller, and the hydraulic umph a roller one needs to pop the gate up and push it out.
Glad to hear you 'had' to keep the AC....

I just make square bales with an old 64 new holland baler. the 2135 would have been bigger than the 790 JD I use now.

I really do have that much use for the AC anymore, I used a nice new case for about 4 days and did most of what I need to do tree pushing wise. i have a ford 4500 coming but its a backhoe unit so no use for hay work.
