Massey 590 clutch adjustment (PTO)

So I have fitted a new two stage clutch to my 590 (same as came out), got the main drive sorted but when I put the foot right down to engage the PTO it just grates 'n grinds like Tina Turner.

I am thinking that inside there I need to set a bit of clearance between some bolt heads........only thing is I can't remember which bolts and what the clearance has to be.....and to add to this calamity the service manual doesn't show it!

Can one of you kind brothers please help me out on this

.080" - .090" (three bolts)

(quoted from post at 13:16:52 11/02/16) What I posted is the older style dual clutch, I think the 590 is different.

Ahh, ok, the picture has all the info, just need to confirm the settings then

Hello,
Yes the 590 is different. It has a 12/10" clutch unit with spiral slots in the periphery of the flywheel and of
course does not have 3 spacer segments.

split torque i seem to remember stamped in to the clutch cover.

by chance do you have a diagram of where the clearance needs to be and what it should be?

(quoted from post at 17:45:12 11/02/16) The Agco US parts list shows tractor to have the independent hydraulic PTO clutch pack assembly, clutch at flywheel is for transmission only.

that's one variant.....IPTO we call it. But there was also a Live PTO type with engagement drive coming direct from the flywheel

this is the crucial piece of info I am after
