135 hydraulic vavle

I was getting on my 135 the other day and as I stepped over the shifters, my foot hit the valve on the right side, behind your knee, kind of under the seat. It pushed it all the way back. When I put it back straight up as it had been, I realized it would go forward farther than I thought, so it was kind of in the middle. It has a remote hose hooked to it. Does it matter what position that valve is in? Could I use that line for a hydraulic center link? Thanks, Joe.

If you have the two spool valve, then yes, the right one is for cylinder use. The LEFT valve is back for three point use, and placed in the center for the right one to work. The three point transport lever must be in constant pumping range also, if not the internal linkage on the three point will shut the pump off when the lift arms raise.

Is it a diverter valve or directional valve? If it's a diverter valve it will just operate a one way cylinder, which would require the weight of the equipment to return the cylinder. The 3-point will not work with the diverter valve positioned to port oil to the one way cylinder.

I have an diverter valve installed on my 150, then to a directional valve to operate my top-link cylinder. the A & B ports must be blocked in the center position to hold the cylinder in a fixed position. Pressure and tank ports are open in center position.
