I read all the time about an IH or JD diesel and someone turning up the injector pump for more hp - sometimes a lot more hp.
Maybe I'm just not looking or seen it, but what about Massey Ferguson tractors? Did folks turn up the pump on the Perkins diesels?
Looking at the specs on an MF175, it is 63 PTO hp. A MF 275 is 67 PTO. Can a 175 be turned up to essentially be a 275 and/or an a 275 be turned up to be a 285? Can a 165 be turned up to be a 175 - where is the line, or do these tractors just not lend themselves to adjusting the pump for more hp like an IH or JD from the day.
Just curius,
Thanks,
Bill
