MF 85 power steering pump gasket

So I have a guy who a couple month back I worked on his 85 and one of you said there was a filter in the pump steering pump area and he found it and that was the problem with his PTO.

But now the problem is, is he need the gasket because every thing he has tried does not work and he has a steady drip. AGCO does not service that part any more so does any body know where to find a gasket for it???
Thanks

I asked the guy if maybe he had lost an o-ring and he said there was not one that he saw. Any chance you have a picture of the o-ring and where it should be??

The pump mounting plate has a step cut into one corner for the O ring, gasket goes around it too. No way the gasket will hold the pressure without it..

I don't know nothing about 85's, but I know you live in MO- did you go to the show in Republic? A really good turnout for the fergie club.

I figured it was something like that but I also have not sen it I am just trying to help by way of the phone but did talk to him last night and yep he lost the o-ring and did not notice that it needed one. Thanks

That show is over 75 miles form me and I do not travel much any more due to $$ it takes to do so. Haven't been to a tractor show in years now

That's too bad, there was a good turn out of people on these forums, and a lot of all sorts of Ferguson and MF tractors and equipment.

My doctor told me a number of years ago every mile I dive is one more mile closer to a wheel chair. As for believing him I well do not or at least try to live like I do not have to worry about that. But I do try to limit how far I do drive if and when I do drive some place. 2 hrs behind the wheel any more is about the limit and even that I have to stop and take a break to get the 2 hours in
