Where are the MF 50's, 65's

I started following YT in 2009 when I started rebuilding my 50. Later my son acquired a 65. Back then there were numerous posts on these models. Thanks to the help we got from the forum, both tractors were put back in working order. Now I seldom see a post about either model, mostly 100 series tractors. Are all the old, rusty, fenceline 50's and 65's gone?

They are around, I have 4- 3 50's and a 65, 3 are at work. By searching the archives, people can research the problem without asking on a new post. Back in the 'aughts'? there wasn't that much to refer back to. They aren't so much of a collector thing, so people aren't showing them off like a grey fergie. too bad/ I like em.

Here is a 50 for sale near my place 2,200 Canadian. I believe it is a Massey Harris 50 can not be to many of them left. I never have been on a 50, but have spent some time on 65s, I always liked them, There are some parts for the 65 gas that are no longer available.

I noticed the same thing. I don't stop in as much as I used to. I started my 65 back in 05 and finished it around late 07. I have been using it and really haven't had any problems with it. I need to change the coolant this winter. I will do the tranny oil next year.

I've got six 65s. I'm supposed to go look at 50 diesel today. And there's a MH 50 at an auction on Columbus Day I plan to see what it brings. I haven't posted much lately and I've been having a hard time posting pics.

Egg sack lee. They are still too useful to be carport queens just yet. I call mine part of the 'collection'.... but they work to often to get noticed. The bronze belly came from Hobbs New Mexico.. I have no idea what they were trying to grow out there..... tumbleweeds???

Neighbor has two 65's. They don't work hard anymore, but are still used. One he purchased brand new. One has a diff. lock, and one has a gas gauge. Maybe the same one, I'm not sure.

wow! great responses. nice to see all those old guys going.. I use mine regularily as well as take it to shows. It's gets up and goes on rides too.

I still have my 4 MF50s and 1 MH50. The MH50 is still waiting to be resurrected, two of the MF50s are currently earning their keep and the other two are parked waiting their turn for a few repairs.
