MF 135 Points Part Number

I have a 1972 MF 135 with a Perkins gas engine. I'd like to be able to buy a set of points at a local auto parts store. The MF part number is 839008M91. NAPA didn't have anything in their system for that and said I needed the actual Delco part number.

Does anyone know the Delco (or other current manufacturer) part number for the points? The Delco number for the distributor is 1112-457 which is currently obsolete.

Yes, they're readily available online (under the MF part number), but sometimes it's nice to go to an actual store.

Thanks!

Are the points the same between 3,4, & 6 cylinder distributors? When I need parts for my Oliver 1600 (6 cyl Delco) I just say it's for a 1966 Chevy pickup.

Try CS88 at NAPA or A109V at an Oreillys. Better yet get you some Bluestreak DR2240.

Delco does not seem to have a direct cross over for it. Could be just to old. However 839008M91 seems to be the right set number for your perkins. Just google it and there are several vendors selling them.

Delco clip on cap all take same points and rotor no matter how many cylinders, Delco screw on cap with single points is same deal points & rotor same for all cyl counts.
