MF 165 Hydraulic not working

Hi all, helped a friend get his MF 165 gas started. Had plugged fuel bowl, got her started and raised the front loader. Ran good, drove it some and the loader dropped and would not raise again. The 3pt does go up and down so I assume the pump works. The loader has two valves in front of the seat. Any help getting the loader to work again would be appreciated. Hydraulic level is OK. Ron Mn

Hi Ron,
If the 3-point is working OK then it sounds like you have in-advertantly switched from external to internal oil supply. Internal oil supply will operate the 3-point and external is to operate items such as a loader. Somewhere on the valve on the front of the hydraulic cover will be a device to either select internal or external or some means of holding one of the levers in position to give you the change-over. If you have any quick-release couplings make sure that they are fully engaged.
