135 - stuck in 3rd gear - rear diff lock - 3 pt

Finally got to use my 135 tractor. After about an hour of using it got stuck in 3rd gear. My research says it is because I lifted on the shifter when changing gears. Lesson learned. My research also said to put high/low in neutral, remove transmission filler cap and take a pry bar a pry the big gear in front backwards. Is this correct? I tried that and I can't get the gear to move. It was flexing my pry bar so it was making me nervous.

Do these tractors with the rear differential lock have what I think of as a limited slip? The diff lock appears to be disengaged but when I would get hung up both wheels would spin but not constantly. It's almost like there was limited slip going on.

The 3 pt slow/fast adjustment doesn't work. Seems like if I move it the speed doesn't change. I have the draft lever all the way back. The 3 pt doesn't seem to be working all the time. It's almost as if it works off the clutch petal somehow. I can have the clutch petal all the way down and 3 pt will not raise but if I let the clutch out slightly it will lift. The 3 pt doesn't work off the dual clutch does it?

To unstick 3rd gear you may need to push the clutch in so there is no tension on the gears (make sure you have the tractor so it can't roll on you).

If the tractor has a differential lock there would be a foot pedal on the right side below the seat. There is no limited slip but both wheels may spin at different speeds on occasion depending on soil conditions.

The slow/fast adjustment located by your right foot only works with when using the draft control, not the position control. The hydraulic pump for the 3pt does run off of the same shaft the pto does so when you fully depress the clutch the 3pt won't work.

I still cannot get out of 3rd gear. I pushed in the clutch which allowed the front gear to spin but I could not get it to move back. The instructions on doing this mentioned 1st gear. Would it be any different for 3rd?

Also leading up to when it got stuck for good it was doing it a bit but when I would let clutch out a bit I could get it to come out of gear.

Any other thoughts or things for me to try?

I may have initially misread the instructions. I think it says I need to pry on the shift fork if in 3rd, not on the gear itself. I guess I need to figure out what the shift fork is and try that.
