Shuttle shift problem with 2001 MF4253

My tractor has approx 1,800 hours on it and the clutch was replaced approx 25 hours ago. The tractor was then stored for the winter. All worked well this spring (although I used it very little) and last left it sitting outside on a slope. When I started it after sitting there for a couple of weeks, all worked OK except that the shuttle shift would not work - I had to FORCE it into forward to get it moved. I'm hoping there is an adjustment that I can do...? Note: The H M L /gear shift side work well, but again, not the shuttle. Might anyone have any comments or suggestions to offer, please and thanks? :?: :?: :?:

I've seen that stuff stored for the winter gets mice nests built, in the dagndest places. Unbelievable places. Is that possible??

Thanks for the suggestion. I guess it could be possible, but there are no signs of mice there. It's a storage building with no feed or foodstuff around, but you never know. I will take another look to see if there are any signs. Thanks again.

Mice for sure don't need any feed, or other food stuff nearby to build a nest somewhere in your tractor in the winter time. I worked on a tractor where mice were in the air conditioner box inside the cab, they can really tear up some stuff.
