I need to drop the pan on my 135 diesel, 152 perkins. It has a loader on it, can I drop the pan with out pulling the front axle off? It smokes and blows oil real bad out the breather. I was hoping to pull the head and drop the pan to pull pistons and check bearings.

You have to support the transmission of the tractor, I'd pull the grill/hood, unbolt the front axle support from the oil pan, and move the front axle support forward a little bit. To be safe I'd pull the radiator off before unbolting the front axle support from the engine. You should be able to move just the support forward on the front axle pivot pin.

I don't know on a 135, but I have a 203 industrial (basically same) you can loosen the front axle support and pull forward enough to drop the pan. It doesn't take much. Watch for the two (hidden) bolts at the rear.

on the two bottom bolts weld the nut to the stud so it will come out like a bolt .... proceed to unbolt front end as needed .... roll apart 1/4 inch and oil pan will come down ...be careful look for bolt that goes into front cover .... make sure those are removed ....support tractor under clutch housing and pan CAN BE REMOVED without rolling front end away ....depends on how far you like you may need to unbolt steering stablizer .
