WOrking on a MF 250 Diesel. Is there any special procedues I will need to do to prime any oil systems and fuel systems after splitting the tractor for a clutch job?

I changed the engine oil and filter and poured oil in the new filter before installation.

I changed both fuel filters and filled the new filters up with fuel before installation. (I filled 3/4 of the way in glass bowl because I ran out of diesel in my jug)

What about the power steering hoses on each side that I unhooked? What about the hard lines for the power steering near the block that I removed?

What about the hard hydraulic lines that I unhooked near the block.

Since you changed the fuel filters there is two bleed screws on the injector pump (one about half way up, another one on the side of injector pump cover where the throttle linkage is). Open the lower bleed screw, and pump the lever on the lift pump until fuel comes out the bleed screw. Close the lower bleed screw, and open the upper, and repeat the process of using the lever on the lift pump until fuel comes out the upper bleed screw, and close it. If you have all the power steering lines hooked up fill the power steering pump with fluid, and crack the injector lines open at the injectors, and crank the engine over until fuel comes out of the injector lines at the injectors. Tighten the injector lines, and fire it up. When it's running work the steering back, and forth, then shut the engine off, and add more fluid the ps pump. Keep refilling the ps pump until it won't take anymore fluid.
