Liquid in a front tubless tire?

The 202 I just bought has a bad front tire that I'm surprised lasted on the drive to my place. It's a 7.50 X 16" tire.

I just removed it from the tractor and was surprised at how much it weighed. As I suspected right then and there, it was full of liquid. I don't know if there is a tube in it or not. The valve stem looks like it could be a tubeless one that's pulled through from the back.

So, my question is...is it possible to liquid fill a tubeless front tire? or is there most likely a tube in it?

i would presume it has a tube. it is very easy to tell the difference from tubeless just by looking at the valve stem.

Yes one could fill a tubeless tire with fluid of some type. If you think about it fix-a-flat is just that type of stuff. Ya it does not really fill it all the way but pretty much the same principal. One could pump wiper fluid or other such thing in that would not cause a rim rust problem

Got a new tire put on that rim today. Turns out it did have a tube in it which tore apart when they tried to remove it. They did not have another tube there at the shop so they just put it on tubeless.

I don't know why the fronts were loaded anyway since it has an FEL on it, I don't see the need for the extra weight.

So now I have one loaded front and one not loaded. I wonder if that will cause any problems? If so, I could just drain the other one. At least I can drive it now without worrying about that tire blowing on me. I don't see how it lasted for the drive from the sellers house to mine. Never seen a tire torn apart that bad. I should have taken pics of it.

It may at one time had a backhoe on it and if so that would be why the fronts where fill with fluid.

Good point.

I have an old 202 work bull here that I need to work on if I ever get around to it. At one time it had a back hoe on it but not now. The loader on it will only stay up if you hold the control in the lift position
