What type of MF35 gaser did I buy

I have newer MF diesels, but picked up a MF35 gasser just for some bush hogging. If the model plate is correct, then the serial
number indicates it's a 1964. It has multi power but no differential lock ? Hope it's a late model MF35 but not sure why it has no
differintal lock and the lift is not live either?

Does it have a live PTO? Even on our MF 253 with live PTO, the hydraulic pump stops when PTO stops (clutch pedal all the way down). You can still stop tractor and have PTO and hydraulics.

Not all 35's came with differential locks, the 35 is pretty much the same tractor as a 135, or 235 (different sheetmetal is the main thing) plus a few minor changes here, and there. On a MF with the dual stage clutch the second stage runs the pto, and the hydraulic pump for the 3 point. If the lift cylinder seals are worn the 3 point will drop when the clutch is fully depressed (how fast it drops depends on how good the seal is in the lift cylinder). The stand pipe that goes from the hydraulic pump to the lift cylinder could be leaking. The bypass valve on the hydraulic pump could stuck open, or the quadrant linkage that works the 3 point could be out of adjustment (or something is missing or bent on the linkage because someone who didn't know what they where doing pulled the lift cover to work on it).

Thanks it's in the field now and I will check the name plate again, lost of layers of paint on it, the multipower works but not live lift, maybe it's a leaking valve? SN on the name plate indicate it is a 1964 model, last year for this gasser.
