Mechanic referrals in Missouri/Kansas/Iowa/Nebraska

Looking at having clutches replaced on a MF 175. Dual stage clutch / Live PTO. Of course while they are in there the rear main seal etc. etc.

Does anyone have someone they would reccommend in Missouri, Eastern Ks, Southern Iowa or SE Nebraska? Non dealers preferred, must charge reasonable rates and be reputable. If they do a good job on this, we have several more jobs we may send their way as well.

I like Certified Tractor, Monett MO., specialize in IHC, but work on everything, I believe. Previously a bunch of IHC mechanics but started on their own. 417-772-7227 They have so much business they need to double their garage area.

Hey PTFarmer, when putting new clutches in, if all
new components are used, is there much internal
adjustment required to the clutches? Thanks!

You gave to adjust the 3 release arms, and the pto clutch after its installed, but its not very hard to do. A good manual will show how to adjust it.

You make the adjustments while it's split. A good shop manual will show you how to adjust it (it's not very hard).
