MF 243 DEAD AS A HAMMER

I sure need you fellows again. My MF 243 ran great 5 weeks ago as I backed it into barn. Now it is dead as a hammer. Could it be the electric fuel shut off? It just seems to be electrical to me. Any insights would be most appreciated. thanks in advance. Allen

What part is dead? Will it crank over or not?

It grants over fine, just will not start. This tractor has always started on first crank.

The fuel shutoff solenoid either be not getting power, or it could be bad. Check it for power, there maybe a fuse for it in the fuse block.
