Hope someone can help me with my father MF 180. For some reason after running it for about 45 minutes (at first, getting worse) it will die like its starving for fuel. I changed the filters and am getting ready to pull all the lines and check for maybe a bio-diesel clog (we don't use Bio but just got tractor last year). Funny when it dies I can loosen the sediment bowl drain plug and it will suck air in like its got a vacum to it. Any help would be great!

Yes I did buy the wix filters 2. sediment bowl is under first which fuel is pumped into before it travels to next filter then onto to injector pump.

I didn't notice your link until i posted my answer, yeah i did put the seal in and didnt think it look right when doing it. tried to get the seal to set on top of rim to not block it but guess it did. Thank you very much ptfarmer!

As long as you didn't put the o-ring in the filter blocking the flow. On the top of the filter housing(s) you should see a small bleed off line running back to the tank, make sure nothing in that part is not clogged up.

I tried to get it to set on top, could of slipped, will check. As far as the return line to the tank, there is one after the injectors only, not from the filters. I checked it yesterday and got fuel to come out of it when it started, I was checking to see if there was a check valve inline there. We had a problem once with Dads Allis and it ended up being a clogged check valve in the line.
