1155 pump removal

Have a 1155 that I need to reseal the front pump. What's the easiest way to remove it?? Remove radiator and pull out the top??

That's how I would. The MF tool to take it out the bottom is not easy to use, and the last time I used it I swore to never use it again. Also when taking out the top there's no fooling around with taking loose the front axle either. It's work either way, but I prefer lifting it out the top..

The pump weight is about 110 lbs, make two studs to hold pump, seal parts are still available at mf dealer. One of the seals you will special installing tool.

Got the pump out the other day and back in today. Took the radiator out and took the pump out the top. About an hour after I had the pump out my boss come in the shop with the tool to take it out the bottom (borrowed from a friend).
Will finish up the job Monday and make sure there's no more leaks.

Dan did you change both seals?
One new seal will need a tool to slip over shaft.
