3165 running, but has anti freeze leak?

Got the 3165 running today after a complete overhaul. Cont. G176 Gas. Has anti freeze leak out of back right hand side of head. Seeps until you rev it up and then it is worse. Went to Napa and got some K Seal. It seemed to stop most of the leak. Also re torqued the head to be safe. I'll let it sit a day or two and fire it up again, hopefully with no leak. The head and block looked real good? Dick

Usually see coolant seeps along the manifold side of the Continentals that Massey used at the dealer I worked for after head was removed-replaced. Most would stop after a good warm up and head hardware re-torque..

This had a small squirt out the back right at the gasket, especially if you reved it up. We will see what the sealant does I guess? Dick

Even-though a lot of gaskets these days say that no re-torqueing is necessary I still like to do it after the engine has ran for the first time. Some engines do need it after its been run once.

squirt? umph.
Always helps to start these 'before' you put back on. For the price, I bring a head to the machine shop to atleast check the flat. Squirt don't sound good.
