This is my first post here - I think I got it in the right place but I apologize in advance if it is not. I have been reading through most of this forum and there is an impressive combine knowledge here! Unfortunately I was not able to find a post similar to the issue I am having, hopefully someone has seen this before.
A couple years back my MF231 sheared the sacrificial drive coupler - we torn down the back end and replaced the coupler but ever since were not able to get the hi/lo selector to move into lo gears. At the time it wasn't a big deal as we were mostly moving dirt and snow. Recently I decided it would be good to do some bush hogging with it - bushhogging in only hi gears was exciting to say the least :shock:.
Anyone have (or seen) an issue like this? It runs great in the highs, shifts through R,1,2,3 no problem. The Hi/Lo selector will move from Hi to neutral and sortof into Lo but not fully seat (almost like something is blocking it). Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
