Received a telephone call at 6:15 pm.... If I could be on site at a construction site by 7:00pm with a trailer and some way to load a MASSEY HARRIS PONEY and a JD 261 FINNISHING MOWER they were mine. Fasted 40 miles this trailer has ever moved! I ran one of these little beasts when I was 12. Pulled a one bottom Plough, and or a Sickle mower. If someone could point me in the direction of the TRCTOR SERIAL # ? Tractor has been outside all its life and was abused. I have located the original Pony that I ran as a farm kid and I'm welcome to it. Another someday project.

You might be missing the tin with the plate, but the serial # is stamped on top of the tranny case or tube on those aren't they? I got a friend who got a pacer, I'll look on his if you can't find it.
Too bad the mower don't go under the pony- that'd be a hat trick- free tractor free mower- but don't pair up.
Where are you? Up near my cousin Lyle? Kinda looks like northern Alberta behind you there.

Thank you Tony for the help. Yes, we live North West of Grand Prairie Alberta. Closest town is Dawson Creek BC.

And your Cousin lives were?

I have a second Pony to look at tomorrow......roomer is a MOWER is included!

Regards

Bob........

The serial number plate should be on the right side of the frame below the fanbelt area. Behind an angle iron bracket for the blade. If it is missing, I don't think the number was stamped anywhere else.

Another Pony AND mower? Don't tell me more free stuff!
Valley View and some more in SE Ed, Sherwood Park. Nice place... in summer....
