TO35 engine runs but tractor won't move

My 1955 TO35 quit today, The engine runs but the tractor stopped moving. I can, with the engine running and my foot off the clutch, shift all gears and the Hi-Lo shift, but the tractor just sits there as if it is in neutral.
Any ideas as to what broke...there was no peculiar noise, it is as if it was shifted into neutral.

In most tractors they put a coupler in the rear end that is made deliberately weak so that if something gets jammed the coupler will break, and not something more expensive. In your tractor the coupler is part number 183088m1 or 180467m1....depending on serial number. I would check this out first. If you go to "Agco Parts books" online, and put in the part number, it will show you a picture of where it is.
