More Massey 2805 issues

Ok this is the first time out (driven) for the 2805 I bought it about seven years ago and its been parked up since.

Well I changed the hydraulic filters and light now seems to stay out.

Engine oil pressure sender unit body re-sealed and holding its oil.

Took tractor for a short run just to see how things were behaving, maybe three miles stopping a few times to check for leakes etc and yes it leaking oil from the plate where the top link of the 3 pnt is bolted onto the rear end so Im guessing an easy fix unless there is something else behind that plate.

Engine ran great, clutch and gears seem fine as is the steering.

Bigger issue though seems the rear end is heating what I think is way too much to the point you cannot keep your hands on it, particularly where Im guessing the brakes are housed. The other point is that the brake pedals have almost no movement befor they take hold, could they be binding and if so can they be adjusted as I thinking that 's what is generating the heat. Any advice welcome.
Thanks
Bill

How do the brake pedals feel when the engine is off? With power brakes, the pedals should smoothly and evenly go all the way down without much resistance.

If the rear end is hot to the touch, would look more towards the hydraulic pressures being off. If the tractor runs with brakes dragging, you would feel that in a hurry. If the clutch packs are locked together, you might not and the rear end would (does) get hot. Try driving using only the intermediate speed for the same distance. I'll bet it's cool to touch. Avoid using high or low during this test.
