I've got an MF 184-4 that the hydraulic pump went out on. Rebuilt the pump with new O-rings and seals, Had trouble getting the system to re-prime. We did manage to get it re-primed and working. The position and draft control levers do work.
The latest problem is that I tried moving an 8/900 lb. round bale and could not lift it. With the draft control off, Using position control only, I could stop the lift from rising with my roughly 200 lbs. Throttling the engine up did not change the results. The hitch will maintain it's position with the engine shut off. I'm thinking trapped air in the lift cylinder, issues in the selector valve or a weak pump. As always, Your thoughts and advice are appreciated.
