Sorry guys, I'm getting into hay season etc. and it's difficult to find time to get on. Alan, I appreciate your comment. I want to ask you,
Tony and anyone else who has worked on one of these what brand of parts you used. The ones I have were branded Vapormatic. I'm buried and
not making much progress at this time. I found my compression tester but I need to fabricate or find the proper adapter. I want to test
the compression before I go any further. Tony, here is my e-mail address. [email protected]
 
That engine needs all the compression heat you can get! Make sure the head is repaired with the valves face close to flush as possible. If valve and seats are just ground as is and are below flush much at all that kills the heat FAST! I've got Tony's head redone, but not back on the engine yet. Hopefully soon, to see how it starts next to my 23c that I have the Deutz valves in..
