Massey 4850 garden tractor tiller

MF rules

Anybody have one they'd part with?
I've been looking for years for one to buy!
They fit the Massey/Snapper 1655 and 1855 garden tractors.
Thanks

From what I was told when Snapper built the MF garden tractors they were not badged as a Snapper until MF discontinued using Snapper to build them. If you could find the model number that Snapper used for the same tiller it maybe easier to find. The online MF parts books do not show a 4850 tiller. Maybe call Agco Answers (877) 525-4384 they might be able to help.

Yeah, I believe snapper continued to produce those tillers also......not sure on model numbers under the snapper name but I believe they stayed the same......42" was a 4250 and 48" was a 4850 was the model numbers.
If you ever run across another 48" one please keep me in mind!
Thanks

Yeah, I'm not sure on a model number that snapper
used. I question if Massey/Snapper even built that
tiller originally or just bought it from someone else
and badged it as their own???
Wish I knew alittle more info on them as it might be
similar tiller to a John Deere, simplicity, bolens, or
others????

(quoted from post at 19:12:22 06/16/16) The 4250 and 4850 tillers parts breakdown is shown with the 1655 tractor parts on the agco parts site I use.

I found it there after looking some more (I kind of figured it would listed with the other tillers).

Hey Dieseltech........if your tiller still has the tags on it could you get me the info off it?
If it's like my snapper snowblower I have for my MF 1655 then it will have a mfg tag on it.
Maybe it just says MF?
My snowblower has a name other then snapper......can't recall name now.

It could be Simplicity, I believe it is a off shoot company of Snapper.
