175 hydraulics pump quit

On a 175 diesel, the hydraulics quit all together,
Pto, 3 pt, and muti power no longer work. I had been adjusting the clutch, the clutch adjustment clevis only has about 3 turns from being fully extended. Could it be a simple linkage fix internally? Wishful thinking perhaps. I did notice the pto slipping a little the days prior to my adjusting the clutch. Thanks!

It has the two stage foot clutch by the way. Is there a way to see what is going on, or not going in in this case, without splitting?

On the bottom of the bell housing there should be a plate that is held on by four bolts underneath. Once that plate is off there is three bolts on the outside of the clutch that you adjust the second stage with. Being that you have no hydraulics, and the pto is slipping you may no be able to adjust it back.

I usually adjust it to .070"-.080".

Thank You!!

i will give it a shot, it quit so suddenly, when i
pressed in the clutch, it was as if something stuck
dis-engaged...

It could have sheared the rivets holding the centre boss in the clutch plate......Normally you don't screw any clevis to adjust a Massey clutch...instead you slacken the cross-shaft clamp and set it, then set the PTO plate from below as described before.........Sam

Well, it turns out the pto disc is coming apart.

Any idea what a shop would charge to put new pto
and drive clutch in? I don't have the set-up to do it.
