MF Super 90 PTO (Round 3)

Well, I finally got a chance to check my PS pressure today. At idle it is 190 psi, at fill tilt it is 240. From what I understand, this pressure should
be fine. Guess this means a split to get at my PTO clutch set up. Am I headed in the right direction?

For what it's worth my 85 did the same thing. The steering pump is on the side and easily accessible. I pulled it off and found the intake screen was plugged. I cleaned it and it fixed the slipping PTO. Good luck

I did a full service on it not too many hrs ago which included the ps pump screen. Also, i think if that was stopped up, I would not be getting the pressures I'm seeing. Thanks.

Was that pressure taken cold or warmed up to operating temp?

cold. I will do it again and let it get up to op temp.
