MF 165 Front Wheels Wobble

Was using my MF 165 and the front tires seemed to wobble while driving. At a first glance everything seemed to be tight. I was wondering is there anything I should check out first??? Also should I have the front end off the ground when I check everything?? What would cause the front tires to wobble?? Thanks

Front tyres too hard....about 28 Lbs is about right, or give it a slight toe out, I know the book says toe in but toe out seems to work better...If it as power steering there was an anti-obble kit to stop that...consisted of friction washers in place of the bottom stub pin bearings......Sam

check your axle pivot pin bushings for excessive clearance, tie rod ends and spindle bushings they are best checked with the front end jacked up enough to relieve the pressure on them,if all checks good I found out by accident that a set of plastic spindle bushings installed on either side will stop the problem, when I went to get this set the dealer only had 2 brass bushings which I greatly prefer so I had to use plastic on one side which have way more friction thereby it helps control the opposite side.
