I have a TO35 that the PTO clutch got oil soaked when the weep hole got plugged. The clutch disc are decentagrating so I know I need to replace them. Does anyone have a manual that will walk me thru the repair? Also any help will be greatly appreciated. Never split a tractor before but have some family help with a lot of experience with other tractors. Also need ideas to best place to get the parts. Thanks for any support, in advance. Bud

Same thing happened to my 1957 TO35
Got tractor stuck mud plugged the weep hole, did not drive it in any tall grass for a while to turn the cotter key, oil got on clutch,

Heads up, I would wait until I had the clutch out to order the replacement clutch, during those years there were some changes in clutch design, you will need to know your tractor serial number to get the right clutch pak,

Be sure to replace the cotter key in the weep hole before you put the tractor back together,

On another note if it doesn't have a weep hole close to the flywheel/engine I would drill one there also incase of rear main leakage. It makes a little easier to tell if it's engine, or transmission. I bought a tractor that had a bad rear main seal, and the bell housing got enough engine oil in it to get engine oil on the clutch.

That is good advice on drilling a second weep hole,

Question: as time has gone on and driving over logs brush, etc: the cotter key under my tractor finally broke off,

Can I remove that four bolt clutch adjustment plate an thread a new cotter key into the existing weep hole, also plan on drilling a weep hole in
that inspection plate,

My normal policy, if one hole is good then two is much better,
