I have a 1020 to do a clutch job on. It quit pulling the best I can tell by looking in the fill plug hole the trans is not turning also the PTO does not operate. It looks like the plate between the engine and trans stays with the engine when split so it looks like the dash has to come off. How would you go about the hydraulic lines it looks to me I will need to remove both ends of the hydraulic lines.

Any tip would be appreciated.

I took the dash cover off and the big suction line from the pump to the filter (filter is under the left fender). I think the dash could be worked around other than having to make a tool to remove the steering wheel that was a beach to get off once the wheel is off removing the dash is not much of a problem. The hydraulic filter needs to be serviced so the foot board and associated tin needs to come off anyways.

Its a first for me to see this set up I guess the so called alternator is a stator and a rotor that uses a solid state regulator... Its a neat little package I can see some bif $$$ if it needs replacement...
