Massey Ferguson 35 oil pressure

I have a 1963 MF gas 35 with the continental engine. At cold start the oil pressure is dead on 30 and at idle right around 20. After engine is been worked and is up to operating temp the pressure stays dead on 20 and at idle maybe 5 or 6 psi. Does this sound normal for this tractor? Thanks

According my Continental Z134 engine manual 7 psi at idle at normal operating temperature. 20 - 30 psi at 1800 rpm at normal operating temperature.

Our old tractors are getting on up there in years and may need a little supplement, like me, sometimes,

The oil pressure on my gas model 1957 TO35 would go low at idle after the engine was warmed up. I changed oil to shell rotella 15w40 diesel oil and now I have much better oil pressure at operating speed or idle, plus this oil has zinc additive like the oils had in them back when this tractor was made,

Has been a no brainier for me, but if your tractor has other wear or mechanical problems, nothing but new motor parts is going to solve the problem.
