MF 165 Clutch Breaking Cotter Pins

Hi, I have a MF-165 that had a new
clutch put in a couple years ago. I
noticed when I had to adjust pressure
plate that some of the cotter pins
were broke and the pins had almost
come out. Does anybody know why the
cotter pins are breaking? Is it some
cheap cotter pins on clutch? Thanks
for the help.

Some cotter pins just seem to break easier than others. While some of the ones that you want to break to remove them takes some effort.
