230 Diesel Oil Pan

Ok I give up what's the trick to get this thing off! I started tearing it down yesterday to see why it lost oil pressure and started knocking and what got messed up. I put a house jack under the trans and took the front end off of it. I pulled out all of the bolts and it will only drop down about 1/8" or so at the front. Seems to be stuck at the back somewhere. The engine doesn't have to be split from the trans to get it off does it? I can't see anything else holding it and the IT shop manual just says to do what I've done. I don't want to go beating and prying on it. Can anybody give me some help with this? Thanks.
 
Thanks I'll check there. I found the two hiding up front. Sure hope it's not messed up to bad when I get in there. I've seen my dad clean the journals with emery cloth and put new bearings in and I hope that's the most I have to do. Thanks again for the help.
