135 Perkins Diesel Temperature Gauge Help

Looks like the temp gauge I bought has the wrong style probe on the end of it. The 5/8 nut is also a bit short and doesn't seat the probe tightly into the block and it leaks.

Can someone tell me what gauge to order with the correct probe on it as shown below? The original good probe is the [b:9221118964]bottom[/b:9221118964] one in the picture. The one on top is the one I bought that doesn't fit right.

It looks like the correct probe is flat faced and mates with a flat face inside the block.

Any help would be appreciated guys

Had an aftermarket temp gauge that I used a thick copper washer on the temp probe so the shorter nut would work, don't remember what the engine was though.

Temp gauge part number 194428M91 is used on tractors prior to serial number 9A146750. Part number 528427M91 was used after tractor serial number 9A146750. Never seen a sender like what's on your new gauge.

Thanks guys. I bought a cheap one trying to save a little and ended up buying it twice. I found a universal fit gauge at tractor supply that seems to work fine thus far.
