I got out to have a look at the tractor I inquired
about earlier and she's definitely stuck. I looked on
this site and didn't see a lot of internal parts
available provided when it's freed up it's also worn
out which it quite likely is,are they a hard model to
locate certain parts for or did I just not look in the
right spot? Thank you for any help

Four and six cylinder Continentals have the distributor on top of the head, or the mag in the right front ahead of the carb. Chrysler six has the distributor on the block left side, and the external oil pump on the right side.

That makes it very easy to determine which one it has thank you very much. I helped my dad who has now passed work on the tractors, had no intentions of picking up any new ones but the 101 was my great grandfathers that we tried a few times to purchase to restore and now the owner is willing to sell, the 333 is a diesel, only had one set of cables since we bought it but I was curious why the box was as big as it is if only one battery.

Recently added a Massey-Harris 33 diesel to my collection, it came with two large six volt batteries in series. Since they were shot I just placed a 12 volt group 31 in the lower box, and it starts fine.

Wow!!! You are very lucky indeed! Dad said they used to run a wfe 33 diesel and it was the only one he had ever seen, literature I've read suggests that only 50 33's were ever built in diesel form and 150 333's came with diesels,3 of which were all in a mile radius of here and 2 still remain. I would love to see a picture of your 33 sometime if you would please consider posting it.

Was going by and had another look today,it's a 4cy continental, hopefully won't be too hard to get parts for if the owner will let it go,thanks again
