G176 Cam Bushing

Any body had to purchase the front cam bushing for a Contenental G176 gas engine anywhere? I'm ordering a complete rebuild kit for my 3165. The crank was beyond turning so I had to locate a used crank. Most of the parts so far are affordable except they are telling me it is $200.00 for the cam bushing??? The guy is checking on the price because he thinks it is to spendy also. Dick

$200.00 is a lot for one bearing, the part number for it should be 1037748M1, but the number could have been changed. You may have to measure the od of the cam journal, the id of the block, and the width of the old bearing to try to find a bearing that may work. You maybe able to find a cheaper bearing, but it may take some time looking at parts books from people who make engine parts to find one by the size of the bearing. You may even have to modify one to fit. I've done that more than once.
