We have a 275 MF loader tractor that is our go to tractor for just about everything and it has served us well but it has always seemed light on traction for as much HP as it has. The tires are getting we're they need to be replaced so I though of going to a larger size. It has 16.9/28 and I would like to move up to 18.4/30. It has the power adjust wheels is there anywhere I can get new 30" wheels that will fit my power adjust wheel disk? The local MF dealer had no answers.

For power adjust wheels you the rims (part number 535475M1). For the power adjust centers you need (part number 1024352M1). The power adjust centers are different for the 28" wheels, the center for the 28's are cast, the centers for the 30's are stamped. Took me 5 minutes looking at the parts book to find out.

If you don't have ballast in the tires, putting ballast in is a big help when it comes to traction. The 30" power adjust wheels will probably have to be found used. The only 30" wheels I can find new are non-power adjust. The 38" power adjust wheels can be found, but you need the centers for them also. I've never run accross any power adjust 30" wheels.

i do not necessarily need the power adjust wheels that's just what the tractor has. The tires are loaded and it did help but just not as much as I would like.

Manual adjustable wheels 30", rim (part number 843156M1) takes a 16.9 x 30 Tire. Center disk (part number 190034M2). Can be found on 255, 265, and 275 tractors.

Why not go with 18.4 X 28? 15" power adjust rims are easy to find, not cheap, but easy to find, and would slip right on with no problems.

You're idea seems right. My 175 has that
size tires on it and seems like a good
hp/traction set up. A 275 is a couple more
ponies but not much.
